Hey, I’m Alyssa! As you can probably tell, I have a deep love for animals. In fact, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have been a dog groomer for 9 years and have been a veterinary technician for 6 years. I am also a proud graduate of Texas State University, where I received my degree in Animal Science. My passion for animals may borderline on obsessed.
Adding to the obsession I also run my own grooming business called Bath and Doggy Works. That is actually why I was called to make this blog, as a sister site to my grooming page. However, it’s not just for grooming clients! I wanted to go beyond and provide insightful answers to frequently asked questions for all pet lovers out there. So whether you’re a client or just a fellow pet enthusiast, this blog is for you! I hope to share my knowledge and experiences with you through this platform.
At home, I have two adorable fur babies – a dalmatian and a chihuahua. But I must admit, I have a special place in my heart for chihuahuas. They may be small in size, but their love, loyalty, and sass knows no bounds.
Aside from my passion for animals, I also love nature and staying active. Working out not only keeps me physically fit, but it also brings me peace of mind. Most importantly, at home I have a wonderful boyfriend and two amazing step daughters who make my life complete.

Do you Groom all dog breeds and sizes?
Yes, we welcome all breeds and sizes! However, for large or extra heavy breeds, we may have specific scheduling requirements to ensure we can provide the safest and most thorough care.
Do you offer mobile grooming?
Currently, we groom in our cozy salon. However, mobile grooming is part of our future expansion goals – stay tuned!
